Did not communicate at all! Once you pay him do not expect him to answer any of your calls! Also the most passive lawyer you will ever meet

I used David years ago and I recently had a situation pop back up (24 years later). He called me right back and gave me advice! He genuinely cares, not just in it for money! I would highly recommend.

I hired David for a family law case, he was very unresponsive. There were times I had to email him 2-3 times before getting a response. The day of the hearing after going to his office, ultimately my hearing was postponed. I'm fighting for something really important so I decided to go in another direction with a different attorney because honestly the guy just doesn't seem to care. I told him that I hired someone else and asked for a portion of my retainer back and the guy refused to refund me any of my money even though my hearing was postponed and he never represented me. Which is pretty shady and dishonest. I WOULD NOT recommend anyone hiring this guy for anything. Don't waste your money like I did. I learned the hard way to never again hire a jack of all trades lawyer. Its better to hire someone that just specializes in family law as opposed to someone that handles accidents, family law, bankruptcy and whatever else.

I hired David for my custody case, it wasn’t a good experience at all. I had the case over a year and I probably talked to David 2-3 at most, he doesn’t answer the phone and rarely reply back to emails. I ended my case before the main court date, so I contacted David about a partial refund, he over looked that part of the conversation….. then started avoiding me in every way. He won’t answer my calls or emails. If I was you, don’t do it.$1,000 gone.

David is the best lawyer I ever used ! The guy is so calm and does more then get the job done . He gets super fast court dates . I used him 3-4 times and he has won every single one ! David Averett was my attorney through my divorce, which he made it very stress free for me. Very professional and gets the job done. He actually got me much much more than I ever expected. And you can't ask for more than that. His office is not all glitter and gold, but don't let that deter you...the man knows what he's doing. And in closing..that's all that really matters.
