Earlier this year, I hired this lawyer to draft a living trust for my family. While I appreciated having legal support for such an important matter, there were some concerning issues with the overall process that left me disappointed. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating and showed a lack of attention to detail and accountability. The first issue was a simple but important one — the property address in the trust documents was misspelled. Rather than correcting the document and reissuing it properly, the paralegal crossed out the incorrect spelling by hand and sent me that version as the "correction." I found this unprofessional, but I was understanding and gave the office grace, hoping it was just a one-time oversight. However, the second issue was much more serious. I paid an additional fee for the office to record a deed trust transfer with the county — a task I expected to be handled promptly. I trusted the process and didn’t think I needed to follow up. Five months later, I checked with the county myself and found out the deed had never been recorded. When I called the office, the paralegal simply told me the lawyer would "follow up with the county to see what happened," offering no apology, no accountability, and no sense of urgency. There was no acknowledgment that the job had just been neglected. Only after I called and pointed out the issue did they finally submit the deed — the same day I called. They emailed me the recording receipt later that day. While I’m relieved it finally got done, it was five months late, and only because I personally followed up. That’s not how trust-based legal services should work. If you’re looking for attention to detail, timeliness, and basic accountability, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Let me begin by stating that Mr. Huerta is amazing. He is knowledgeable, patient, efficient and very highly skilled. He looked into my problem as I had been being gouged for thousands by a Tax Service that was based in L.A. and he was able to help me with my tax situation and was able to provide me with information to help me discontinue being fleeced by the other company. I just wish I had contacted Mr. Huerta much, much sooner. I am very appreciative of his services and I strongly recommend anyone with tax concerns to seek him out.
