if i could give no stars i would, please believe the reviews, i had trial and her non response and non-communcation, never being in the office, cost me my fight in a juvenile case. if they assign her, fire her immediately!!!1

File with the state bar against Laura Boyd if you have had issues. She has committed legal malpractice and hurt my grandchildren beyond compare.

I filed a complaint with the bar and they are investigating! Please if you are a former client that she took your money and didn’t do the work, file a complaint with bar! DO NOT HIRE HER! The worst lawyer ever, purposely delays your case. I hired her as my lawyer for my divorce and custody back in july of 2022 and its now April 2025 and My divorce is still not finalized. She has delayed the case for no reason! She has delayed submitting documents and has made errors on documents and when the errors are brought to her attention, she does nothing to fix them. I will be contacting the bar and possibly trying to figure out if I could start a class action lawsuit against her because all her reviews are the same in that she takes everyone’s money and doesn’t put in the work required and ghosts her clients.

I hired this attorney for a restraining order and paid a $2500. From the beginning, communication was a major issue, with repeated delays, mistakes and lack of response to my inquiries. The case was not handled with diligence, and I felt I was not being kept informed. After significant delays and poor communication, I chose to withdraw the case. I requested a refund for unearned fees, but this was denied despite the case never seeing the court room!

Whatever you do, do NOT go here!! Her communication is horrible!! She says she will do something and wont do it. You have to keep following up and be on top of it because she won’t! She’s always pushing appointments back. Horrible overall.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Not only was Laura completely unresponsive the whole time she was representing us, she didn’t speak to us until 2 minutes before court started every time, and we found out later that she was speaking about details of our case to her other clients. So sickening. My husband and I were so sad to see such unprofessional behavior. I don’t recommend Laura Boyd to anyone.

Laura represented me in a restraining order case that was based on lies and false allegations. From the moment I spoke with Laura and explained my situation and the facts pertaining to the case, I had no reservations in retaining her services, and she got right to work. There was never a doubt in my mind that this wasn’t being handled with the upmost professionalism. In the courtroom, Laura is a bulldog. She absolutely mopped with floor with the other attorneys false statements and unsubstantiated claims. I am so thankful and happy that I used Laura for this case and will definitely retain her again for any future issues.
