Law Office of Meghan Behrens

Disclosure: I have not retained Ms. Behrens yet. However, I was so impressed with how kind and generous of her time this attorney was to me yesterday when I made a phone call to her regarding my 18-year-old daughter who had received two minor in possession charges in Isla Vista. I had called a previous attorney who had quoted almost 3 times the amount to represent my daughter in court - Using scare tactics and untruths to get me to sign on with them. Ms. Behrens set me straight regarding these charges, made recommendations and advised me of the best course of action which might include using her services in the future, but she seemed to have my best interest in mind and not hers. I was very impressed. Thank you!

First of all Meghan is 5+ lawyer!! Meghan has helped me tremendously and even though she's only doing her job, I feel deeply indebted to her for how much she has helped my family. I'm really thankful for all the things she has done for my kids. Meghan assisted me with my divorce and an example of how much she has help was at the beginning of my divorce. In the beginning of my divorce I didn't have any custody of any of my kids but Meghan was able to represent/assist me getting custody of my kids. Another great reason why I recommend Meghan is because she was fair with her billing making my divorce affordable for me. Also she is a Jack of all trades meaning she specializes of all areas of law practice not just divorces. I'm very happy with how Meghan has represented me in court and glad I was able to find a lawyer that was going fight for things that were important to me during my divorce process. Please disregard any low reviews about her because these reviews are not true speaking from personal experience and probably clients that were probably expecting a miracle.

Be very careful trusting Mrs. Behrens to represent your interests. My experience with her is really bad. I set clear expectations that I required her to agree with before I appointed her, in both writing and in person. She agreed and then totally broke those terms after a little pressure. My new rule is that anyone who has post it reminders to be a good person and to not be self serving, isn't someone you should quickly trust.

Megan Behrens, has spent several hours helping me solve a crime committed against my son. She was by far, the most knowledgeable about up to date, ways to find answers, in my sons case, She has spent this time, without charge and denotated her time, in the name of Justice. she is by far the best, and would recommend her to anyone trying get to the bottom of a investigation, and for the pursuit of a truthful resolution.

Unreliable and inattentive to details; requires frequent reminders about the case. Easily concedes to opposing counsel and lacks assertiveness.

She did something very similar to me. Anyone who has to put post-its on their desk reminding them to be a good person and hold principals, should immediately be suspect. I guess she missed the day in law school about zealous advocacy.
