Last month, we finalized and signed all of my estates planning paperwork to protect my baby Nova’s assets along with carrying out my healthcare wishes. I can’t lie this was probably next to one of the hardest things I’ve had to do besides burying my parents. (Thinking and completing the conversations that we never won’t to do, but it’s imperative that it’s done!) If you haven’t done your estates planning I highly recommend my attorney Law Office of Wendra J. Moran. She listened to my wishes and allowed me to take my time as I processed my wishes at my pace. It took me over a month to revisit this conversation with her,but she was very supportive and caring during this process. Also, I think it’s important to note that she is very knowledgeable about family laws as well.

This attorney was retained with the expectation of receiving competent, diligent, and professional legal representation. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. The attorney made significant legal errors in the matter—errors she initially acknowledged and committed to correcting. She requested the opportunity to remedy the situation, assuring us that she would see the matter through to completion. Despite these assurances, the attorney’s mistakes resulted in prolonged delays and strategic disadvantages in the case, benefiting the opposing party. Throughout this period, we were repeatedly asked to remain patient and supportive as she attempted to address the issues she had created. While her initial willingness to accept responsibility was appreciated, the situation deteriorated when she later cited increased demands on her time and growing client obligations [to new/other clients] as reasons for her lack of responsiveness and inability to follow through on her word, to correct her own errors to remedy. Ultimately, she withdrew from the matter without resolving the issues or taking the necessary steps to mitigate the impact of her earlier mistakes. Her withdrawal, which occurred at a critical stage, effectively transferred the burden of her errors to another attorney and imposed additional financial strain on us, as she withheld a significant portion of the original retainer. In our opinion, this conduct reflects a concerning lack of professional accountability and dedication to client advocacy. Reliable legal representation requires not only competence and responsiveness, but also the integrity to see matters through—especially when complications arise due to one’s own admitted actions. Unfortunately, that level of commitment was not demonstrated in this case. We would not recommend this attorney to those seeking dependable, responsive, or accountable legal counsel. We advise others to proceed with caution and ensure that clear expectations and responsibilities are documented thoroughly from the outset.
