Don set an appointment for me quickly, which was good since everything was happening so fast at work. I came prepared to our meeting with all my evidence and paperwork. I had the opportunity to work with Don McManus over the past 2 months. I needed help reviewing a severance agreement. I didn't know where to start looking to find a lawyer, so, I called about 4 practices in Orlando. I didn't feel comfortable about making a decision until I talked to Don on the phone. At other practices, I talked to what seemed to be non-lawyer note-takers, not having any insight into my situation at the end of the call, as well as having anxiety about a huge bill that I had no idea if it was worth it.
