Marty was my daughter's first AFC when she was 2.5 years old. The first court case involved me receiving visitation. I informed him that I was a victim of domestic violence and that I was concerned for my childs safety. When I took the stand in the first trial, he asked me if there were any visible cuts or bruises on my hands after the assaults. I said no, why would there be? Later I asked him to clarify why he asked that and he said he thought I was the abuser. Nope...she hit me a lot I said. He just nodded his head. The next trial came a few months later and involved concerns for medical abuse as my child had allegedly had 100 doctors visits in 2 and a half years. I was being counseled by the leading child abuse forensic investigator at Mass General and I asked Marty to speak to her. He said no. But he did get the medical visits to stop. The third trial, my child was around 5 and Marty told the courts that my child liked the visitation order as it was currently laid out. My child asked why they were still going to the other house after court was finished. My child wanted to stop going because of all the yelling and fighting. During those years, my child would report that they spent many nights at the other house under their bed or under the pillows to drown out the screaming. I didn't have an answer. DV would escalate exponentially and last for another 7 years in the other house. That story will be published in 2027 by my child. It's a shame Marty never spoke to the Forensic expert at MGH. Those doctors visits early on were the first of many red flags. Anyway - I heard that Marty was no longer doing AFC work around 12 years ago so maybe someone figured out he wasn't well suited for protecting children? Maybe he's a better at representing adults.

He allowed a self righteous and neglectful narcissist to ruin our marriage, family and life of our youngest child ; he has no conscience and karma will find him - maybe he himself is a narcissist??? He allowed my ex to break many covenants and agreements in our separation agreement then executed a divorce against me with only a 20 day answer to a summons which is in correct ! It is 60 days ! Women BEWARE!!! this man will side with the meanest narcs out there and ruin your life!!!

Mr. Collins was the "man for the job " and I am so very thankful that I was referred to him! He made every court date appearance, even when I could not attend. He kept me informed of everything that was going on, which not a lot of attorneys do! If you ever need an attorney with the right amount of attitude, class, patience and knowledge, he’s the man for the job!!! Best decision I’ve made yet!!
