Exceptional Law Firm From my first consult with Marcia in 2007 to my recent interactions with her firm in February 2021, I have been very impressed and grateful for their exceptional service. I hired Marcia when I left my husband in 2007 because she was so professional, kind, organized and knowledgeable. I often joke that she wiped the floor with my ex husband’s attorney as it was clear that his attorney’s legal skills were no match for Marcia. She was always so well prepared. She drafted our divorce agreement and thus I knew that my needs in the divorced would be met and would get what I deserved in the settlement. On occasion since my divorce was finalized in 2009, I’ve reached out to Marcia and she always responds in a timely manner. A couple of years ago, my ex husband took me back to court for a modification of child support. I knew Marcia’s firm had grown and I was a bit nervous that some of her associates would not be as good as Marcia, but I was wrong. I had a consultation with Jennifer Silva and some email communications with her. She was very helpful and thorough and always responsive to my emails. I reached back out to Jennifer recently to discuss a contempt of court complaint I wanted to file against my ex husband. Again she responded in a timely manner and answered all of my questions. I then consulted with Julia Rodgers and was also very impressed with her timely response and thoroughness. She suggested I have Amy Abbott draft the contempt form for me. Amy completed it in a very quick time frame and answered all of my questions. In summary, I am extremely pleased with all of my interactions I’ve had with Mavrides Law over the years. Going through a contentious divorce is very stressful, so it was such a relief to know I had hired such a top notch law firm. Thus, I would highly recommend them!

Marcia and her team were true professionals in handling my divorce. The Mavrides Law team is nothing short of exceptional. Making the decision to get a divorce was the hardest decision I have ever made, and having never been divorced before I had no idea what to expect. I met with a few different lawyers in the Boston area, but none of them "wow-ed" me the way Marcia Mavrides did. It's with GREAT PLEASURE that I write this review. I've been working with Mavrides Law since my initial consultation back in December of 2011. From my first conversation with Marcia, I knew the connection we made was one that was first and foremost all about my daughter's future. She not only spent over an hour with me on the call to learn about my specific situation, but her knowledge of family law in the state of MA was evident from the beginning: and if you're going to fight for shared parenting, you need the best of the best when it comes to knowledge... Everything Marcia or Jennifer explained would happen throughout this arduous/emotional/frustrating process happened like clock work. Their advice was always in the best interest of my daughter. They were candid and blunt about what to expect and put things plainly so that I can make the best possible decision for my daughter. Fast forward 1 yr and 4 months from when I actually retained their services. I've recently been blessed and awarded 50% shared custody (legal & physical) of my daughter, and that was all due to not only their firms experience, but also to the dedicated team they have assembled at Mavrides Law. Marcia & Jennifer were diligent, hard working, empathetic, and just plain awesome to work with throughout this process....Working with them together was like working with a pitcher/catcher duo that is unmatched.
