In a follow up to the Sheri Daniel review and her trust in Ed Dawson. Hired Ed Dawson to represent my son and shortly into the case, Dawson stated that the search warrant and affidavit were sealed. This was based on Dawson's phone conversation with then Appomattox Clerk, Barbara Williams saying it was sealed. Dawson never requested the unsealing. A number of years passed and l pursued obtaining a copy of documents, only to learn that they don't legally exists. So Mrs. Daniel you were not the first to experence a non trust worthy Ed Dawson. It appears Dawson conspired with Federal Prosecutor Donald Wolthuis to convict my son.

I had the unfortunate situation arise where I needed a family law attorney in Lynchburg to fight for custody of my 8 week old granddaughter. I am not a resident of the State of Virginia and was unaware of any attorney’s reputations. My husband and I retained Mary Chamberlain to represent us in what turned into a very complicated and difficult custody case. Mary was so knowledgeable in family law that she never had to research any codes, she knew the answers to my questions when I asked them. She never misled us, or ill advised us. In fact, I complained for 11 months about something she advised us to do, however, in the end, what she advised us to do had great weight on the Court’s final decision. I am thankful our paths crossed and would recommend her to anyone in need of a custody attorney in her practice area!
