Please DO NOT hire Joseph Seifert. I made that mistake and it cost my family over a year of stress, money, and legal risk. Here is exactly what happened: He took our money in advance but sat on our papers for 3 months (August to November) before filing, with no explanation. He gave dangerous advice. He told me to rely on repeated entries on my ESTA visa every 3 months. I later learned this risked a permanent ban and deportation. He advised the wrong strategy. Instead of moving my application here to adjust my status (which was possible the whole time), he told me to apply for a useless visa extension that went nowhere. He ignored us. For months, he would not answer calls or emails. He made up excuses. Instead of doing his job, he blamed delays on my husband, wildly speculating that he had a "hidden wife" or secret past, which was completely false. He tried to make me leave. His final advice was for me to give up and move back to my previous country to wait indefinitely. The Consequences: This wasn't just bad service; it was dangerous. Financial Loss: We wasted thousands of dollars on his fees, a useless visa extension, and forced travel every 3 months to "reset" my visa—money we can never get back. Legal Jeopardy: By advising me to misuse my ESTA visa, he put me at extreme risk of being deported and permanently banned from the U.S. Emotional Trauma: I lived in constant terror of being stopped at the border and separated from my husband and my son, who is in high school here. Lost Income: I was unable to work for over a year because of his delays. Personal Attacks: He tried to cover his own incompetence by creating paranoia about my husband's past, adding unnecessary stress to our marriage during an already difficult time. The Proof: We found a competent lawyer who filed for Adjustment of Status from within the US immediately. I had my work permit in 3 months and my Green Card in 5 months. Joseph Seifert didn't just fail us; he put my future in danger.

Scott and Jude were a blessing in my family custody court case. In a position that I thought I would lose custody and placement when I first hired Seifert and associates. Fast forward, 1.5 years later and tons of hard work by Scott and Jude, my court case was settled without going to trial. The results were also the best I could have hoped for. Joint legal custody was reinstated and placement was set to 50/50. I can't thank them enough for all the hard work they put in on the case.

I have been trying to get in contact with them to get my retainer back that I never even used. They will not return and emails or calls and it’s been a year I hired them for a potential case they never answer any of my calls I had to hire another attorney to take care of the potential case. I reached out to this place to try to get my retainer back and I have multiple emails and phone calls all documented with no reply whatsoever. I will be filing with the bar association and the state of Wisconsin I would say clear this company

Absolutely terrible, Once they get your money, the communication ends I’m supposed to be paying somebody for a settlement. They never gave me a copy of my settlement and they will not return my calls or emails for the last four months trying to get that information. They will purposely just blatantly ignore you will be filing a complaint
