I had an appointment with this lawyer, but the call was a bit awkward because I didn't feel like he really wanted to help me with my case. He asked me several questions, telling me it was difficult to get a pardon and that he could help me with asylum, but this definitely wasn't a sure thing, since I've been in the United States for over a year, and according to immigration law, it only applies within the first year of entering the country. He also told me that if he processed the asylum application, it would be more expensive. So I assumed he was just looking for more money and not real help. My request for his services wasn't free, as it would be partially covered by my insurance and another one that I would definitely also pay for. I don't know why he has so many good reviews, and almost all of them are written very falsely, but I think this is how these lawyers operate: trying to make more money. It's very deceptive. I was referred to Mike by a family friend who after 12 years he had won their case. He took on my husband's case and been the greatest lawyer for the last 9 years. He's worked with restlessly to help my husband win his case (aggravated felony in the immigration law) he's very knowledgeable and reliable at what he does and I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer. Thanks to Usher Law, my dad is no a US Citizen! This firm helped my dad from the very beginning of the process all the way to USCIS interview. The firm helped make a difficult and hard to navigate process smooth for my dad. With their help we learned that he was eligible for the 65/20 exemption and a medical disability waiver due to his glaucoma and cataracts.
