Waste of time and energy getting legal assistance. My application was approved. I had to call almost daily to get the status of an attorney being assigned to me. A month later an attorney finally calls to tell me that she cannot help me with representation but can give me advice, which was information I already knew. No compassion or understanding whatsoever. Don't even bother and do the research yourself. Call around and talk to attorneys for free consultation but unfortunately you'll need to pay for representation.

When a small claims case happens and $5k is offered in mediation, do you tell your client they were offered $5k to complete a previously acted on agreement?

I need it help with credit card debts been drowning for The last 5 years after I have gotten sick due to hypertension disorder. A counselor from Green path wellness financial recommended to legal aid services for assistance. I thought filing bankruptcy would make things better in a situation Saudi attorney recommended just hey basic bills like rent / mortgage car food gas all the important goods needed. And wanted to make sure I have everything. I do appreciate all the explanations that were given to me and hopefully things will work out. Debt collectors in & credit card debts can be a real pain but with legal aid services can assist you with anything with great advice.

I went to them in Feb of 2021 to do warranty deed to have a name removed from my house deed. This was supposed to be simple. It required 3 signatures & filing the paperwork with the court clerk. Easy peasy, RIGHT....smh My husband & I were going to refinance our home in March of 2022. I found out all the paperwork legal aid had done, was done wrong. I went to them needing legal help. All they did was make my situation worse. Now, I'm just waiting to find out IF & WHEN they can fix this. Of course we are operating on THEIR time frame. Even though I'm about to be out $600 for my home appraisal. Not to mention the individual I was removing from the original deed is a violent alcoholic. Now I'm dealing with that! Thank you so much legal aid for the HORRIBLE position you have put me in. Next time I'll find a trained monkey to do the job right.

A very great help to me at a most unfortunate time in my life. Now they seem to be so busy that it is hard to get to a person.
