I should have posted this sooner to save other people from making the same mistake. Jessica lacks empathy and compassion. She is very unethical with her billing and spends money on your case that you see no results for. She refuses to return reasonable portions of retainers. I have not spent money on any attorney as much as she took from me during a horrible time in my life when I was most vulnerable. I wanted her to help me with a DVRO and she delayed filing for so long that I had to suffer another abusive incident. I finally left and went to someone who helped me get out of my living situation. I contested her billing and she wouldn’t budge and took no responsibility and provided no empathy for her delay causing me to endure physical and emotional abuse. she was rude, yelled at me, and she is extremely defensive. She should not be in this business.

I hired Jessica for representation for an ongoing divorce. After I paid my retainer fee the demeanor drastically changed and Jessica became difficult to communicate with and would threaten to quit when I voiced concerns regarding my case. I also found out she was personal friends with my ex spouses divorce attorney. When I brought up a single communication issue she immediately quit and refused to return my retainer. Jessica did not even file a substitution of attorney and produced zero documents for a charge. Jessica was reported to the California State Bat Association and was found guilty and placed on administrative probation with mandatory remediation classes. She still refuses to return the $8,000 retainer which will be decided at the next course of action. I would stay away from this attorney due to her defensive behavior and unwillingness to admit her own personal deficiencies as an attorney.

Michell is the most amazing, compassionate, and patient attorney anyone could ever ask for. She took on my fiancé’s and I cases so smoothly. She has amazing communication and feedback for everything. She took time to ALWAYS listen to us, hear us out and our concerns. She is very straight forward as well, respectfully too. Our cases were for sure the absolute struggle and handful, but it was the amount of time and hard work she showed and put in for us that made us just recommend her to everyone and anyone. I honestly cannot recommend her enough. She will honestly fight for you and your cases. In ours, she fought for us and our child. She is there to HELP you! Thank you Michell!

I had custody and DVRO case, and my case was very simple and I filed for divorce and custody and moved out to avoid more violence and protect my family involving with law enforcement, I shared all my story with evidence, opposing party filed for DV after 5 months with all false and baseless allegations, Unfortunately Michell Flores even did not review all my documentations properly and did not cross examine other parties properly while all those said was not true, when I asked from Michell, she said I know, I know. Unfortunately, I had very bad experiences with her. also, she is not responding to your questions at the time, the only time I got emails and respond to my email about money issue, she spent around $20,000 for only 2 days trial hearing with ruling statment, it was frustrated. I never recommend her; she is the worst attorney I experienced.

Worked with Michell Flores when she was at different law office, and she helped me through the beginnings of my divorce, child support, and custody issues. She then moved onto another law office, and I was passed within the firm onto 3 other representatives over 8 months before I left that firm due to no movement and just continuous fees to go over my case with each new representative. I tried one other representative and after a year, with no movement and just more fees. I looked up and located Michell Flores at a new practice and moved my case to her. After 4 long years going through my divorce, she was able to complete mine within 4 months. Very professional, direct, and helpful and I’m appreciative for her assistance in the various stages of my case.

Michell did an exceptional job and was able to get the court to see what was going on in my custody case. She changed my kids lives for the better. She is a compassionate and skilled attorney. I highly recommend reaching out to her law firm if you’re needing a family law attorney.

My dad and I hired Michell 2019 from a law firm she was working for. She was helping my dad and I with a DVRO along with child custody & divorce. Shortly after we followed her to her own practice. On many occasions we would call or text and not receive a response until days later. We feel that her office is very unorganized, and lacked communication with us as clients . We find Michell at Flores Legal PC very unprofessional and unorganized. She decided to drop our case in the middle of our situation leaving us with no lawyer and unfinished documentation weeks before our hearing. On numerous occasions we would call or text and not receive a response for days at a time. After she dropped our case we realized many documents were not completed or filed as stated , as we were charged for them. Making us miss our deadlines with the court . She was very quick to charge us all fees but was very behind on deadlines and notifying us when we were to meet those deadlines . We recommended her to a family friend of ours who had a similar experience with her law firm. Her reasoning behind dropping our case was due to a missed appointment that we notified her my dad would arrive late due to a work incident.
