I originally had made an appointment with a different attorney, but when I read the reviews about Ms. Penton, I decided to meet with her first. At our first meeting she used the word "ethical" and told me that even though initially, my divorce was to be amicable, I was ultimately her client and ethically there would be things she could not disclose to my then spouse. As it turned out, my divorce ended up being extremely harsh and drawn out due to my spouse. Ms. Penton helped me navigate the convoluted judicial system and my spouse's attorney's filings. There were times when I didn't think she was listening, but then she would use what I told her in filings and in court. I felt very protected and well represented by Ms. Penton and her assistant. Both Ms. Penton and her assistant were empathetic to my situation and showed much needed support. The final thing I would add which really stuck with me and prompted me to write this review was that there was not ONE person from the gentleman who served my husband to any person where her office was located who had a negative thing to say about her. As I sat in the lobby, trying not to look upset, these individuals would come up to me and say that "Ms. Penton is very good at what she does" and that she would take care of me. I would recommend her to anyone going through a divorce or other legal matters in which she operates.

We hired Ms. Penton to handle my wife's immigration from Canada. It only took 3 months from the time forms were filed to get her EAD, PR card, and social security card. Great experience. I strongly recommend Ms. Penton and even more strongly recommend you do exactly as she advises. Her assistant, Maricela, was also outstanding and very patient on the phone answering questions from my wife. Great firm.

We hired Ms Denise Penton for the immigration work for our monk. Ms Penton is very knowledgeable and is very thorough. She and her assistant Tomas are very proactive therefore very reliable. Together they get the work done and are very responsive. I highly recommend. Update as of February 2023: Our monk's adjustment of status has been approved thanks to Ms Penton's extensive knowledge of the Law and perseverance. In fact, we would have not achieved the same results if we were filing as self-represented litigants. Indeed, because of the length of processing time, our monk's legal status was jeopardized.
