I would avoid at all cost. Mr Barnes represented me in a bogus abuse-neglect case brought up by the mother. In the process of the case i asked Mr Barnes about ways to pursue the case. He had a temper tantrum over my questions the day before trial and requested to the judge he be taken off the case. This caused my trial to extend another year. On top of that, it turned out there *were* things he could have recommended that would have compelled the guardian ad litem & judge to my side. The only thing i can conclude is Mr Barnes wanted the trial to go on indefinitely in order to extract the most money out of it. Avoid him at all cost.
